It had been a couple years since I had been to this Goodwill and I'm happy that I stopped by today. I didn't find much but enjoyed looking as always. The outlet is in a warehouse type building; it's definitely not a glamorous shopping experience but the prices are unbeatable and I like the idea of "saving" the items that didn't sell at the thrift stores.
I purchased: a pillowcase and two apron skirts for 65 cents total
The outlet was much more organized today than it had ever been before. Plenty of space so you can distance yourself from other people. Feels like there's more room to breathe in there now than there used to be.
It's a new store so they were really clean & neat. Huge selection of really nice stuff but the prices were a little too high! Honestly, it's not just this store tho it's every goodwill, they're prices are absolutely ridiculous for most things & a lot of times they charging more for stuff than it cost brand new at retail price! Anyway, overall, I liked this goodwill bc the employees were super nice & the place was clean & not crowded.
I was excited to visit because the premise of saving money buying things by the pound is a good one. I had read that it was like a warehouse with items in bins so I was expecting that. What I hated was that the place was dirty looking, the sales floor wasn't that big, and the worst part was the lack of organization. How hard would it have been to divide men's, women's, and children's clothing into separate bins? I left feeling very disappointed.
It was dirty, smelled bad and the bathroom was unusable. They never traded out the bins. The brands here weren't great either. But they did do $1.29/ pound if over 20 pounds which was awesome. The staff was friendly and said the VA Beach one is much nicer, perhaps I'll try there next time!
Ah "the bins" as they are called in most re-seller groups. My first visit to this location. They don't like you taking photos or video so be discreet. Was told photos not allowed by staff. Separate electronics area that's priced more like a …
Found a TON of stuff here- cart full of clothing, about half jeans and half shirts/jackets, a few bags (real leather!) and a little stuffed monkey I’ve named Bungus.
The staff is very friendly! New bins are brought out often (I’d say every thirty minutes or so), so make sure to stay out of the way while staff is still moving them in/out of the area. There are some people that will very quickly go for the bins that have just come out. Other reviews say they’re aggressive and shoving, but I didn’t really see any of that. It may have been because I was taller than half of the people there. Also, there’s plenty of good stuff in all of the bins if you look closely, so don’t worry about getting to the new bins unless you like being a little competitive like me. Maybe don’t go at a busy time either 🤔
There is a solid amount of hats, sweaters, jackets, and SO. MANY. JEANS. Also if you have a more common shoe size and are a lady looking for some boots or heels, THIS is the place!!!
My clothes were 1.29/lb since I got over 20 lbs of clothes. The price is 1.59/lb if you get less than 20 lbs of clothes, so it’s still a great deal! Housewares are 0.79/lb, and bags/purses are 3.50 each.
I would recommend separating any bags you are purchasing from the clothes you are getting so your checkout does not take you or the cashier a long time. I would also suggest separating housewares from clothes.
Plan on spending a few hours here and bring gloves!
These bins are not good. They rarely do rotations so there’s never any new stuff coming out. Every other bins I’ve been to they non stop do rotations until around 12pm but this location has brought out 2 new bins since opening at 9am (it’s currently 12:30pm). Very disappointing compared to other locations
Went to this location for the first time last weekend. Great shopping experience. Not my first time at a goodwill location, so I would say go early. I went at 9am. I was finished by noon and that’s when the majority of people started to …
